Could an e-bike be an alternative to your car?
At Holmsland Skole there is an electric cargo bike that anyone can use. It was originally donated by Region Midtjylland and is maintained by Holmsland Sogneforening.
The bike can be booked for five hours at a time, and it costs DKK 30 per booking. The money goes towards the ongoing maintenance of the bike.
You receive the code for the key box when you book.

The cargo bike came to Kloster as part of a trial to find out whether shared bikes could supplement public transport.
The trial ran in 2024–2025, and almost 60 villages in Region Midtjylland took part. Among other things, it showed that a shared bike can in some cases replace a second car.
When the trial ended, the cargo bike in Kloster had been used so much that we were allowed to keep it. Now Holmsland Sogneforening takes care of its maintenance.
